Voting is a fundamental right of any citizen that enables them to choose the leaders of tomorrow. Under the organization of NSS teams, a program was conducted at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada, to enlighten the minds of todays youth of 18 years and above on account of National Voters’ day.

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest, Sri.SMallibabu, CEO of East Godavari Youth Welfare Organization, said that ‘Voting’ is not only our ‘Right ‘in fact, it is our responsibility as a citizen and we all must fulfill this responsibility with seriousness. He also stated that the polling should be done in a peaceful manner and it is the responsibility of every individual to have a minimum knowledge regarding the E.V.M machines. He made out a call to elect a true and an honest leader for the benefit of the society. The Academic Coordinator, Sri.B.E.V.L Naidu, told that the right to vote is the strongest weapon in our hands with the help of which we can solve our problems and can bring a great revolution in the country. He also advised the students to create awareness that Citizens at the age of 18 should definitely register themselves as a voter and should have an idea about E.V.Ms, its utilization and the swiping process. Sri.N.SeshaReddy, Chairman, Aditya Educational Institutions, Secretary, Sri N.Krishna Deepak Reddy, Sri.B.E.V.L Naidu, Academic Co-ordinator, Sri.Ch.V.V.Satyanarayana, Vice-Principal appreciated the NSS volunteers for conducting the program. Sri.T.Tejeswararao, Sri L.Diwakararao, NSS program officers and the NSS volunteers participated in this camp.
