International Day of Peace & Plants Distribution program was organized at Aditya Degree College, Kakinada under the behest of the NSS team. Every year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this, as a day devoted in strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all the nations and people. Speaking on the occasion Dr.B.E.V.L Naidu told that all the Nations of the World should be united for the people to have a peaceful life, though the Nations are having disparities and enmities within them. For this the United Nations and the different Nations of the World are striving their best in establishing the World Peace. We had great experiences in the past, like loss of the property, life of the innocent, pollution, radiations etc, in the World Wars. So, he gave a call to the students to fulfill their duties as the responsible citizens in establishing peace in the society. The Chief Guest of the program Dr.Addala Satyanarayana, Dental specialist, Sri Satya Super Specialty Dental Hospital stated that it is a difficult task but it is as well the most important responsibility of each and every individual to lead the Country in peace. As a symbol of peace white balloons and pigeons were flown into the air by the Chief Guest, Lecturers and the students of the school of Management. Later, 2500 saplings were distributed to the students and the lecturers in collaboration with the Forest Department as a part of Environmental Protection Act.
